Job Description

This position is responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of highly sophisticated biomedical and related technical equipment and instrumentation system. Serves as a technical resource and support for the medical and clinical staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of AAS Degree in Biomedical Technology or Military certification equivalency. Requires three (3) years related experience to acquire adequate competency in applying biomedical and electronic principles. Must be a trade school graduate or be AIME certified. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a similar position in a hospital setting. Ability to change and adapt to competing priorities. Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
