This position assists with processing menus and helping manage patient diets in conjunction with the dietitian relative to physician prescribed diet. Prepares records and reports in support of the food service operation and other clerical duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Current Washington State Food Handler permit. Previous clerical and food service experience, preferably in an institutional setting. Ability to learn the operation of equipment and simple food preparation techniques. Knowledge in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ability to create reports, and ability to data entry into software. Ability to use calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and other office equipment as needed. Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.

P-Time; 32 hrs/wk 

Eves; 11a-7:30p
