Job Description

This position is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Department in various areas of recruiting, employee benefits, and regulatory matters relevant to the staff and management of the hospital. Performs routine receptionist and clerical duties and other tasks as assigned or requested. These tasks include, but are not limited to, copying, filing, sorting mail, creating files, answering phones, directing calls, etc.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred. Previous experience in Human Resources preferred. Ability to use standard office equipment (copier, fax, digital camera). Excellent phone skills required. Ability to provide excellent customer service to applicants and visitors. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, verbal and written. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions and deadlines. Must be able to multi-task. Strong organizational skills required. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments. Experience with computer software to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to utilize the Internet for position postings. Ability to create flyers, postings, type and create letters and spreadsheets. Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
